Find a quiet place to sit, somewhere you can be one your own without interruption. Unplug the telephone so you can’t be disturbed. Put on some relaxing background music.
Now take a deep breath, as you exhale feel yourself relax, be aware of your breath and with each one feel yourself going deeper.
